Leon Draisaitl 2024-25 Oilers Game Worn Jersey
Leon Draisaitl continues to solidify his place as one of the NHL’s most dominant players. Now in his 11th season with the Oilers since being selected third overall in the 2014 NHL Draft, he’s once again putting together a season worthy of Hart Trophy consideration. Already a 2019-20 Hart and Ted Lindsay Award winner, he remains a consistent offensive force, well on pace for his fourth 50-goal campaign—and possibly a Maurice Richard Trophy to go with it.
This jersey was part of that story. Worn across nine games between October 17, 2024, and December 29, 2024, it saw Draisaitl rack up 8 goals, 9 assists, and 17 points. Most notably, it was on the ice for his 350th NHL goal on October 19, 2024, against the Dallas Stars. During this stretch, he rotated between two jerseys—this one featuring the alternate captain’s “A” and another without it.
It’s also a jersey from a milestone season in another way. 2024-25 marks the first year of Fanatics taking over as the NHL’s jersey provider, ending Adidas’ run. While most teams introduced sponsor patches last season, the Oilers held off—until now. This year, they’ve opted to feature the Karbon-X logo on their away jerseys.
The jersey itself is a size 58, Made in Canada, with a few distinct details, including tightened cuffs reinforced with black sewing on white fabric—a subtle but unique customization.
I bought this jersey directly from the Oilers’ official team online store Ice District Authentics, adding another special piece to my collection. I even got to see it in action firsthand when Draisaitl wore it on November 18, 2024, against the Canadiens at the Bell Centre. It wasn’t the most exciting game, but seeing the Oilers in person is always a good night.
With the way this season is shaping up, this jersey might just be tied to another award-winning year for No. 29.
